George and Tom (and their staff) are wonderful. They are good guys who are deserving of their customers and high ratings. They've been my parent's go to mechanic for as long as I can remember, when my dad mentioned to them that I was looking for a car, they recommended a local dealership that they find trustworthy, they did a safety check, and called me to tell me their honest thoughts on the car I chose. There were many many calls back and forth between George and I, he took the time for explanations and to answer my many questions despite his incredibly faced paced days. Once I bought the vehicle he even went as far as to invite me to the garage to give me a quick lesson on checking fluids, tires, ABS, and dash lights - to make sure I felt empowered as a first - time car owner. As others have said, these guys run a fast paced business. If you are new to them, do not take their quick phone calls as a sign of anything other than their efficiency. They have tonnes of loyal customers (for a reason), and are trying (and succeeding) to provide service with quick turn around times to everyone who needs it. While it feels like they are always moving quickly when I drop off my car in the AM, the buzz has usually settled when I come back to pick it up, and I've never felt rushed out, and most times have a quick catch up session with Tom, and a few laughs with George if he's not in the garage.

I was recommended to Don Valley Auto by a friend of mine, his mom uses this auto mechanic shop, as does his brother. George and Tom are great and my car has never been in better hands when it requires service. My car is 17 years old and runs very well. I highly recommend Don Valley Auto, make an appointment they are always busy.

Excellent, expedient service. I called before they opened in a panic and the shop allowed me to have the tow truck drop it off. They identified three issues and fixed them at a MINIMAL cost. They could tell that I am struggling financially and can’t help but wonder if that’s part of the reason my bill was so low. Very friendly and funny, great service! Wonderful people.

I was a few blocks away from here and went over a speed bump at a weird angle and one of my tires got misaligned off the rim. I called this place as it was the closest car repair place I could locate on google and a very nice man who I would guess was the owner said his team had already gone home for the day (this was after 4 on a friday) but I should come by (driving very slowly) and he will help me out. He was able to fix my tire within a few minutes, saving the day and saving my tire! Thanks so much for the great service and accommodating me at the last minute when you were already supposed to be closed for the day!!

Brought older car in for brake job. After a month, 1100km, they squealed. Ended up bringing it in twice more within the week. Both times they fit me in and had the car back for me within 2 hours as they said they would. A bit inconvenient BUT for those of us that dread taking anything back when it's not done right or calling bad quality and/or service out and expecting a huge hassle - these guys are the complete opposite. Professional, acknowledged that " this isn't right, we'll fix it" without any fuss and no additional charges at all. The best. Thank you George and Tom.

These guys, George and Tom, are the best. I use to HATE taking my Jeep in for a maintenance check with the dealership.....then a friend turned me on to Don Valley Auto. Always friendly, and really terrific at keeping my 20 year old Jeep in great shape.

Tom and George are amazing! Called in advance to book an appointment to fix the AC, which I dropped off 3 times somewhere else without proper fixed. George and Tom also fix the brakes/rods , so rotten which may cause wheel falloff🥱 My car under their hands , I am relaxed. They are a real gem in our community! Amazing work done! Thanks Tom and George!

These kind of shops barely exist anymore because of high rents and stringent regulations but George and Tom contunue to give outstanding personalized service. They have been taking care of my 2006 Ford Escape for many years. They are the best.
